The MAAC Board and Volunteer Coordinator Kate Towers would like to take this opportunity to thank our members for their generosity. By giving your time, talent and donations our MAAC 4th Annual Summer SCM Meet proved to be a fun event for all involved. Your help with our biggest fund raiser of the year will support all of our members in the coming months through education, social gatherings and ensures continuation and the success of MAAC.

Keeping our MAAC swimmers motivated and creating just the right combination of individuals for relays our very own Coach Lynsey and Coach Kurt.
With her velvety voice Beth Goodridge our Announcer kept the swimmers informed so they made their events on time and gave each lane and event sponsor their plug.
Brian Sinclair prepared our Signs to help direct the swimmers to their heats & lanes and made very clear where the results could be found. He also made sure we were informed as to how NOT to get a parking ticket.
Getting information under Brian’s signs to make sure swimmers had the information they needed in a timely fashion our Runners: Ray Jackson and Devon Fasani did a great job keeping the papers Tom printed moving down the pool deck.
Arriving early on meet day to make sure Registration and Check-in went smoothly Karen Servas, Kevin Donlon and Kathy Parks greeted our participants with a smile and a Goodie Bag.
And for those who wonder just how all this works and keeps it all coordinated we thank Tom Kara our Meet Director. Tom collects all the entries, sorts and inputs them into the computer, brings his computer and printer to the pool and then does the magic that makes our meet wonderful. Mark Rossi assisted Kate with the Clerk of the Course duties and Sam Kara assisted Tom at the officials table.
We hope this provides the acknowledgement that is intended, and if we have left someone off this list, we apologize. Also, if you are interested in being a part of this volunteer group next year hopefully this provides a little insight into the types of things it takes to make a swim meet a success and as you can see you’ll be in great company. GO MAAC!
