Larry Daniels is competing in the Senior Olympics at Stanford this weekend. So far, he achieved a personal best in the 100 free with a 58.65! He placed third! That’s a new MAAC record. Great job, Larry!

Update: On Sunday, Larry swam the 50 free. His time of 26.31 earned him 1st place in his age group! Way to go, Larry!

Latest Update: Great job, Larry! Today was his last day of events, and he earned two 3rd place medals in his age group by swimming the 50 Fly in 30.18 and the 200 Free in 2:12.92! The men’s short course records page has been updated with his new records. Overall he earned 1 gold medal, 1 silver, and 3 bronze!

    holy cow. 26 seconds!? my best was 28.7 and i’m half larry’s age. what an inspiration. did he wear a banned suit? i demand a drug test!

    And after all that fast racing, he shows up at practice this morning at 5:30, tells me he is going to take it easy, and then kills it for 3,000+ yards!
